My name is James Lyda and I'm a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at
the University of Oregon. I am writing to invite you to participate in a
research project aimed at further understanding Multiracial (i.e. biracial,
mixed race, etc.) college students' experiences in college. Specifically, I am
interested in understanding the relationships among racial identity, level of
connectedness to others, supports, and how multiracial students are
adjusting to the college environment. The results from this study may
help college and university staff provide more culturally-sensitive
and effective
support. If you are a multiracial college student, age 18 to 23, and
