I am co-directing a mentoring project in which we train college students
in mentoring skills, multicultural education, and racial identity to
work with 7-12 grade students of color. I am looking for an instrument
I could use to measure the impact of the mentoring on the mentors. That
is, I would like to find out how the mentoring has helped the college
mentors. Could someone help me find an instrument that is reliable and
valid?

Thank you for your interest in the Fulbright Teacher Exchange Program.
Just a reminder that the application deadline is coming up soon and all
applications must be submitted by October 16, 2006. If you choose to
use the on-line application, it too must be submitted by midnight,
October 16, 2006. This application deadline will not be extended.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
* One-year direct exchanges of teaching positions in Bulgaria,
Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany,
Ghana, Hungary, India, Latvia, Mexico, Peru, Poland, Romania, Senegal,
Slovak Republic, South Africa, Switzerland, Turkey and the United
Kingdom.
* One-semester direct exchanges of teaching positions in
Argentina and the United Kingdom.
* Six-week programs are available in Morocco (job-shadowing
exchange)and the United Kingdom (direct exchange).
* Administrator Exchanges: six-week; job-shadowing opportunities
in over ten countries.
* Two eight-week; summer seminars in Italy or Greece for teachers
of Latin, Greek, the Classics or Social Studies.
If you or your administration have questions or concerns about the
program, or if you have any difficulty submitting your application,
please feel free to call (202.314.3520) or e-mail
(fulbright at grad.usda.gov) us directly for assistance. Please be sure to
retain in your own files a printed-out version of your application at
all times. Please also ask your administrators and references to observe
the October 16 application deadline.
