international relief worker and documentary filmmaker
working to bring human right issues into the
university classroom.

Cambodian's efforts to reconstruct a shattered society
in a climate of war, bringing a humanistic perspective

the trafficking of Burmese girls into prostitution in

LEPER: Life Beyond Stigma offers a rare and intimate
glimpse into a village of lepers in rural Nepal. 
Villagers speak openly and emotionally about the
myriad stigmas and misunderstandings that surround the
disease that has marked their bodies and their lives.

SKY  BURIAL documents a common burial custom in Tibet
where the bodies of the dead are offered to the
vultures as a final act of kindness to living beings

the ultimate gesture of generosity. To merge with the
sky is a holy event, one that replaces the sufferings
of this world with peace.
