Greetings,

The Mesa United Way's "Ready 2 Learn" program produced a wonderful video
about early childhood education (which includes health and development topics)
for Native Youth called "What We Have Always Known. Although the video
focused upon Native cultures, the information applied to newborns-age 6 from all
cultures. In fact, the United Nations requested a video be sent to them.

Mesa UW turned over the video and production rights to a local tribe or
Native Educators group. (I don't remember which.) Perhaps Dale King at MUW could
help anyone interested in learning more. Mesa UW does a lot for young
children, and Dale's always been a terrific and inspiring resource.
