presenting at this important conference. Join us and you will have the
opportunity to discuss the obstacles that our Latino students face as they
attempt to access higher education and achieve success. More importantly,
you will learn innovative, practical and successful strategies that you can
implement at your own institution that will enable you to help our Latino
youth overcome these obstacles on their path towards a college degree.
Presentation topics include current legislation and policies, addressing the
unique needs of Latino students regarding financial aid and recruitment,
creating easy transfer from 2 to 4-year schools, institutional policies that
support retention efforts, engaging Latino students in campus/college
activities, developing corporate and community partnerships that facilitate
access to higher education, strategies for creating a campus atmosphere that
promotes success, and much more.
