We have 2 NAME family members who are standing for major elected seats in 
the upcoming mid term election.

Angie Paccione, long time NAME member, has served as Colorado's House 
Representative. Angie is  running as Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress 
in the 4th District of Colorado (www.angie2006.com). Her reputation for 
being an outspoken advocate still intact, her campaign position states, 
“Our current leadership in Washington has sold out to extremist agendas and 
wealthy special interests.”

A.J. Halagao, husband of NAME Region 10 Co-Director Patricia Espiritu 
Halagao, is the Democratic candidate for Hawaii's 17th House District seat, 
under the banner slogan, “Envision One Hawaii” (www.ajforhawaii.com).

conference to attend preconference events, or help set up, don't forget to 
consider if you need to apply for an Absentee Ballot to vote in your local
