Grant Title: Excellence in Education Award Program 
Organization: National Center for Urban School Transformation (NCUST) 
Eligibility: Urban schools where 50 percent of students qualify for free- or
reduced-price lunch 
Value: $1,000 and travel expenses 
Deadline: December 18, 2006 

The purpose of this award is to recognize high-achieving urban schools where
at least 50 percent of the students qualify for the federal free- or
reduced-price lunch program. Winners receive $1,000, a banner, and travel
costs for one representative to attend the NCUST Symposium in San Diego.

Grant Title: Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Science and Math
Programs 
Organization: American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc. 
Eligibility: K-12 teachers who are AIAA Educator Associates 
Value: Awards range from $200-$1,000 
Deadline: December 30, 2006 

The purpose of AIAA grants is to assist educators in presenting mathematics,
science, and technology principles to students (K-12) in an exciting,
hands-on manner to develop our future aeronautics and aerospace engineers,
scientists, pilots, and space explorers.
