Emerging Minority Leaders Conference

October 27, 2006 - October 29, 2006    Detroit, Michigan

Registration is open to all emerging state, local, council, district,
and region leaders. The registration fee of $140 covers conference
materials and meals on Friday evening, Saturday morning and afternoon,
and Sunday. National PTA will reimburse states for the cost of
registration, airfare, hotel, and per diem for two members to attend the
Emerging Minority Leaders Conference.

Designed to recognize and reinforce the significance of ethnic minority
leaders' roles in PTA, this conference creates an opportunity for ethnic
minority leaders to connect, share, and galvanize efforts. You will be
inspired by highly relevant workshops and dynamic keynote speakers.
Prepare to make new progress for the children in your school community.

This conference is for you if you...

*                          Are an ethnic minority, 

*                          Are interested in increasing your skills to
grow as a PTA leader, and 

*                          Want an opportunity to share experiences with
fellow emerging minority PTA leaders.

States are encouraged to select members from all levels of the
organization.
